Harvey
Dam Project, Western Australia
In February 2002 Slipform International (then operating as RMD
Slipform) were engaged by Leighton Contractors Pty Ltd to supply
and operate the slipform equipment required to construct the
intake tower for the Harvey Dam Project in Western Australia.
Using equipment supplied from the UK with back-up from the Perth
depot the 42m high octagonal tower was slipformed at speeds
of up to 8.5m per day with an excellent finish and to within
very tight tolerances.
